Jim Conmy is Vice President and Major Transactions Counsel for Commonwealth’s Philadelphia National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. He has 35 years’ experience in the title insurance industry and has held positions in underwriting, marketing and management.

Jim has twice served on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and chaired several of its committees. He is Vice Chairman of the Pennsylvania Land Title Institute, and Chairman of its Curriculum Committee. Jim served as President of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association in 1995-1996. He was designated a “Certified Land Title Professional" (CLTP) in 1994 and was awarded the James G. Schmidt Distinguished Career Service Award by the Pennsylvania Land Title Association in 2003.

Jim received his BA degree in History and Theology from Fordham University and his JD degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
