ABOUT Judith

Judith Phipps serves as Commercial Title Examiner for Commonwealth’s Philadelphia National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. She is a 31-year industry veteran and, during her 20-year career at Commonwealth, Judith has also served as manager of the Lancaster office and has been involved with all aspects of the title process, from the initial application, commitment production, settlements, and through to the issuance of the final policy.

Knowing that the title commitment is the back bone of the title insurance industry, the accuracy on which the customer most relies, Judith insures the production of a complete and accurate title commitment with additional underlying review of exceptions of title.

Judith served as secretary of her local planning commission for more than ten years. She is also deeply involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The organization’s focus on the happiness of children has inspired Judith to be an “Obie’s Clown” and she has found interacting with the parents and other family members and/or patrons to be a humbling and rewarding experience.

Judith and her husband Kenny will soon celebrate 34 years of marriage and have been blessed with two children and three precious grandbabies (thus far). In addition to spending time with family, Judith enjoys landscaping her own home as well as the homes of family members. She also enjoys hiking, swimming and camping.
